Account Deletion

Use this page to understand the deletion process, what may be removed, what records may need to be retained and how to submit a verified request.

Effective date28 July 2026Last updated28 July 2026

1. Request account deletion

You may request deletion of your Yaso account and associated personal information. Before processing the request, Yaso may verify that you control the account.

Recommended in-app route: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. If the in-app control is not available, use the request form below.

Submit a deletion request

This form opens your email application and prepares a request to the configured privacy mailbox.

2. Identity verification

To prevent unauthorized deletion, Yaso may ask you to verify access to the registered email address or phone number, sign in to the account, or provide limited additional information related to the account. Do not send passwords or full payment-card information.

3. Before deletion can be completed

Yaso may require resolution of open operational matters, including:

  • Active or upcoming bookings.
  • Outstanding payments, refunds, payouts or disputes.
  • Open safety, fraud or policy investigations.
  • Legal holds or records that must be retained.

Where possible, the account may be restricted while these matters are resolved.

4. Information that may be deleted

  • Profile information and preferences.
  • Portfolio content, listings and saved items.
  • Non-required communication and notification data.
  • Device tokens and marketing preferences.
  • Other account information not subject to a valid retention requirement.

5. Information that may be retained

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud, enforce agreements or maintain financial records. This may include transaction records, tax documentation, dispute evidence, security logs, consent records and information needed to prevent repeat abuse.

Content previously shared with another user, such as a message or booking record, may remain visible to that user where required for legitimate records, but your profile may be de-identified where appropriate.

6. Processing timeline

Yaso will acknowledge the request and process it within the timeframe required by applicable law. Complex requests, unresolved transactions or identity-verification issues may require additional time. You will be notified if an extension applies.

7. Effect of deletion

Account deletion may be irreversible. You may lose access to bookings, bids, messages, reviews, portfolio content, saved data and transaction history available through your account.

Deleting the mobile application from a device does not delete the underlying Yaso account.

8. Contact

Send account deletion and privacy requests to privacy@yaso.com. General support is available at support@yaso.com.

Production deployment should connect this page to a secure backend request workflow or verified support system rather than relying solely on email.
