This page describes the categories of information Yaso may process, why the information is used, how it is shared and the choices available to users.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Yaso collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use the Yaso website, applications, marketplace and related services.

This Policy applies to customers, photographers, venues, creative professionals, website visitors and other users of the Service.

3. How we use information

  • Measure performance, troubleshoot errors and develop new functionality.
  • Send service communications and, where permitted, marketing messages.
  • Comply with legal, tax, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations.

4. Legal bases

Depending on your location, Yaso may process information because it is necessary to perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue legitimate business interests, protect vital interests or because you provided consent. Where consent applies, you may withdraw it, subject to lawful processing already completed.

5. How information is shared

Information may be shared with:

  • Other marketplace users as required to display profiles, evaluate bids or fulfill bookings.
  • Payment, hosting, analytics, communication, support, identity and security providers.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers and corporate transaction counterparties.
  • Authorities where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.

Yaso does not sell personal information for money. Any use of targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising should be disclosed and managed in accordance with applicable law.

6. Data retention

Yaso retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including account operation, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, accounting and legal obligations.

Deletion requests may not immediately remove information from backups or records that must be retained by law. Retained data will remain restricted and deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention period ends.

7. Security

Yaso uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use strong passwords, protect devices and report suspected account compromise promptly.

8. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, withdraw consent, or appeal a privacy decision.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Yaso may use essential cookies for authentication and security, preference cookies for settings, analytics technologies for performance, and marketing technologies where enabled. A production website should provide a consent mechanism where required by law.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18. Yaso does not knowingly permit children to independently create marketplace accounts. Where a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information, they should contact safety@yaso.com.

11. International transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, Yaso will use recognized safeguards for international data transfers.

12. Policy updates

Yaso may revise this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, data practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or another appropriate channel.
